RubyEast '07
Just a quick writeup about the RubyEast 2007 conference. The presentations were all really good—the most informative for me being the two by Obie Fernandez. He saved the day when Amy Hoy had to call in sick.
Afterwards was a bit of drinking on the hotel patio. If you get a chance to hang out with Ezra Zygmuntowicz or Toby DiPasquale, then jump on it.
The next day was a BBQ at the boss’ house, for which I made my infamous never-the-same-twice hotwings. Good times.
